UV Printed Vinyl Stickers - Clubcard Printing Canada

Print stickers on white, clear or holographic foil stocks that push the boundaries of colour and quality cut to standard and custom shapes. Clubcard Vancouver's UV ink sticker printing option combines orange and red inks with CMYK full colour inks and optional UV spot gloss and white ink printing. 

Order as few as just 10 stickers and you can even print different versions of art of the same shape and size. For example you can order 100 stickers with 10 versions at 10 each!

We currently offer these stocks for UV stickers;

3 mil White Matte Vinyl Stickers  - Printed in full colour using cyan, magenta, yellow, black, (CMYK) plus orange and red inks with a matte appearance making them ideal for adding clear UV spot gloss to highlight specific areas of your sticker design with a glossy sheen. 

4 mil Clear Vinyl Stickers  - Printed in your choice of full colour, full colour plus high opacity white ink as a backup to pop colour or white ink only. 

7 mil Holographic Foil Stickers  - Print reflective foil stickers on this iridescent, holographic sticker the has an ultra reflective rainbow effect. Printed it full colour, full colour plus high opacity white ink as a backup to pop colour or white ink only. 

*Notes On Spot Gloss Printing
When we add this layer of clear ink to the sticker during printing the occasional tiny bubble will appear in this layer. We do our best to avoid this but be prepared for this.  Spot gloss is best suited to highlight small areas in your design. 

Custom Shapes Must Be Simple

Custom shape stickers need to be a simpler or non-complex shape. Sharp curves or tight spacing is not achievable using this cutting method. If looking for inside cut, please ask us for a custom quote.

Be Sure to See a Proof

We strongly recommend seeing a printed proof of your artwork. Due to the nature of the UV printing, some colours may appear different than expected. Requesting and viewing a proof is the only way to preview and be sure you are okay with the results prior to printing. Any projects ordered without a proof will not be eligible for a reprint due to colour or quality expectations.

What Type of Surfaces?

Our stickers adhere to non-porous, non-textured, smooth surfaces, such as painted surfaces, metal, smooth sanded or finished wood, lacquered surfaces, glass, painted fiberglass, plastic, other vinyl, and leather. Surfaces like vinyl and leather that have been treated with Armor All or any other oily type substance must be thoroughly cleaned before application.

Will These Stick to Plastics?

Although they use a permanent adhesive, these stickers don't stick to 'Low Energy Surfaces' which can include some types of plastics. We recommend testing some samples prior to ordering to ensure these labels will work for your use.

These Stickers Are Weather Resistant

Although these stickers are weather resistant, they will fade over time in the sun and when exposed to friction. If you need fully weahterproof stickers, please ask us for a custom quote of our Flexographic Printed Weatherproof Stickers.

These Stickers May Shrink Slightly on the Backing

Overtime stickers printed with bleed and especially those with heavy ink coverage may shrink slightly. You may notice uneven edges when the stickers are still on the backing. However, the edges will still be straight when applied.

Backing Edges May Be a Bit Rough

Due to the way these are trimmed out into single stickers, you may see some roughness to the edges o the stickers. We try to minimize as much as possible. However, due to the method of trimming, it is unavoidable. If this is a concern, we recommend either our Flexographic Anyshape labels available as a custom quote.

Technical Specifications + Templates

Kiss Cut Dieline (Shape of Sticker): supply a file that includes a vector path outline indicating the shape and size of your die cut sticker. The custom die line for your full colour vinyl stickers should be as simple as possible or the order may be placed on hold. Keep your customized shape basic and smooth.

Cut Through Die Line (Sticker Backing Shape): choose to have your graphics centered on a rounded-corner rectangle or rounded corner square sticker backing, 1/8" larger than the final size of your die cut stickers, or supply a vector file with an additional dieline indicating the custom sticker backing shape. This should be no larger than 1/8" than the final sticker size.

Bleeds: if your artwork or background colour extends to the sticker edge, you must bleed those graphics past the trim by 1/16" on all sides
Live Area: keep important text and artwork not meant to be trimmed 1/16" inside from the edges
Colour: supply artwork in CMYK colour (Pantone/ Spot / RGB colours will be automatically converted and may not print as expected)
White Ink: By default, all CMYK areas will be backed up with white. To indicate specific white backup or elements please include a separate file/artboard with these elements coloured with 100% Black to denote the special finishing.
Spot Gloss: Include a separate file/artboard with these elements coloured with 100% Black to denote the special finishing. Alternatively, if you would like to include these elements in the same file, place these elements on a separate layer and coloured in 100% black that denotes the Spot Gloss.
Resolution: 300 DPI minimum resolution
Fonts: live text should be converted to curves/outlines (we do not accept font files)
Transparencies: flatten all transparencies
Types Of Files We Accept: MAC & PC files from Photoshop (PSD), Illustrator (EPS or AI), CorelDraw (CDR or EPS), Adobe Acrobat PDF, TIFF or JPEG
