Window Is in a Fixed Spot

Window placement is always the same, we aren't able to customize the placement of the window on these envelopes

Colour Will Vary

These envelopes are gang run printed and colour will vary from run to run. Also, the colour will vary from other products, so if you are ordering envelopes and letterhead - the colours might not match.

Artwork Shouldn't End on Flaps

These envelopes are first printed, then folded and converted to envelopes. Because of the process, designs cannot end right at the edge of the flap, or front to back. Trying to have a white front, and a coloured flap will always result in slivers of colour showing through to the front. We recommend having a white or full coverage colour or patten background and not trying to have artwork end right on the flap or edges.

Greys Can Shift

CMYK Process colours in the grey range and de-saturated images can shift in colour throughout the print run and may cause the greys to appear either cooler or warmer. For a neutral grey, we recommend converting all grey values and de-saturated images to true greyscale consisting of K (black) only values.

Your Blue Might not Really Be Blue

Due to the nature of club-run printing, you may experience colour variation in solid fills of blue. For great blue results, we recommend a 30% difference between your Cyan and Magenta levels to ensure a nice rich dark blue, rather than purple.

Use Rich Black

For the richest of deep dark blacks in print use 50/40/40/100 as the CMYK value. If printing small black text (or knocked out text), we recommend a k only black (0/0/0/100) to avoid misregistration issues.

No Printing on the Inside

We do not offer printing on the inside of the envelopes.
