Desert Storm Uncoated Card Stock Brochures 12pt

Brochure printing on 12pt thick Desert Storm uncoated cardstock at Clubcard Vancouver is an excellent way to print sturdy and artisanal brochures in full colour with white ink printing. Create truly unique menus, brochures and folding promotional pieces.

 

Desert Storm card stock brochures are printed in many sizes including standard 8.5" x 11" and 11" x 17" with half fold, tri-fold, z-fold, and accordion folding. 

 

Clubcard prints these brochures on our digital press, so you can print as few as just 10 brochures and up to 10 different versions of artwork in the same order. So if your order is for 100 brochures, your can print 10 types at 10 units each on the order!

 

12pt thick Desert Storm kraft stock is made from 100% post-consumer fibers, meaning your brochures had a previous life and are back at it in your life.

Use the Proper Template

Different folds have different panel sizes and templates. When available, please use the available template from our File Prep tab, or ask us and we can create one for you. Also, many templates have 2 pages, be sure to watch for inside and outside when designing brochures.

Be Wary of Margins

Leave lots of space around the fold lines of your brochure. Folding can vary slightly from the template.

Avoid Borders

Borders make it obvious when even slight shifting occurs. For best results, we don't recommend borders. If you must, ensure they are as far from the edge of the paper or fold mark as possible.

Heavy Coverage on Folds Can Lead to Cracking

Avoid designing your brochure with heavy or solid dark ink coverage on the folds, over time the stock can crack and show white paper fibres.

Technical Specifications + Templates

Bleeds: all files must have a 1/8" bleed on each side
Live Area: keep all critical text and artwork 1/8" inside the trim
Colours: supply your files in CMYK colour (Pantone/RGB colours will be converted or rejected)
Spot White: Include a separate file/artboard with these elements coloured with Pantone Black to denote the special finishing. Alternatively, if you would like to include these elements in the same file, place these elements on a separate layer and coloured with a Pantone colour (typically Pantone Black) that denotes the Spot White.
Resolution: 300 dpi minimum (400 dpi preferred)
Fonts: fonts must converted to curves/outlines (we do not accept fonts).
Transparencies: flatten all transparencies
