Print Large and Custom Oversized Cards on Premium 18pt Coated Card Stock
Create bold, high-quality oversized cards with our durable 18pt coated card stock, offering a thick and substantial feel with a low-lustre matte finish. At Clubcard Vancouver, we print these cards in 2 or 4 business days in full-colour on an advanced Indigo press.
Indigo printing ensures superior quality control and consistent colour accuracy across multiple card orders and future reprints. Whether you need large postcards, rack cards, or custom-sized prints, our 18pt coated cards provide a strong, professional look and feel.
The minimum recommended text size is 6pt. With any small text, if grey use a black ink only version; if black, use 100% K.
Anything thinner than a hairline stroke (0.25") - even at 100% K may look choppy when printed due to Indigo print resolution.
There is a screen to the Indigo print which customers should be aware of if they're comparing to traditional offset printing.
Don't use rich black on Indigo printing. 100% K will be just fine.
Heavy ink coverage can be problematic. When the cards rub together, the ink can rub off. This can be an issue for corner rounding so we generally advise clients with heavy coverage not to round corners.
Coated cards aren't ideal for writing on. If this is a big deal, check out our uncoated card stock options.
CMYK Process colours in the grey range and de-saturated images can shift in colour throughout the print run and may cause the greys to appear either cooler or warmer. For a neutral grey, we recommend converting all grey values and de-saturated images to true greyscale consisting of K (black) only values.
Depending on the colour value, you may experience colour variation in solid fills of blue. For great blue results, we recommend a 30% difference between your Cyan and Magenta levels to ensure a nice rich dark blue, rather than purple.
